Arcade Fire – Everything Now at Bell centre
The Biggest Montreal’s rock band, Arcade Fire, made a live show yesterday in their homeland, and they keep showing why they are the most popular and recognized band of Canadian rock in last years.
Grammy-winning Band, Arcade Fire, performed last night at the Montreal Bell Center with full crowds. Arcade Fire has built a strong reputation for being one of the best art-rock band Since their release in 2004, with their first album “Funeral”. In that time, they began to perform international tours, and put on the highest the name of Montreal. From this time until today they complete five studio albums and six international tours, included this one, called ‘Infinite Content’ that kicked off in the Round Arena this month in Quebec City.
This new tour features his new album: “Everything Now”, that was released last July 28, on all platforms and formats, including CD, Cassette, and Vinyl with more than 20 variations of art in different languages.
The last night show was magical, they performed under four huge LED screens showing dramatic visuals and giving fans a hole view of the spectacle. the concert opened with “Afterlife” song with they heated the cold night, then they burned it playing the more expected songs by fans: “Normal Person” “Month of May” and “Ready to Start”, songs that made the assistants shout “on fire”.
Were more than two hours of beautiful lyrics and incredible instrumentation that explain why their shows are highly demanded live act around the world, because definitely, is not a normal show, it’s an extrasensory experience that takes you flying with very personal songs and then land you with sticky hooks and fan’s screams.
Another very interesting part of this concert is that the band has partnered with PLUS1, so that $ 1 from every ticket goes towards eliminating the cycle of poverty in Haiti through the Kanpe Foundation. www.kanpe.org. And this is replicated in each country they go to, supporting in each country different social projects dedicated to ending poverty in the world.
Arcade Fire truly deserve their reputation for being the best performers out there today, not for nothing “Time” magazine called them the band that located Canadá on the world rock map. They are one of Montreal Bands that you must see live at least once in your live.
