L’avenue Gourmande / Street Food Festival to discover local producers
L’avenue Gourmande / Street Food Festival – A street food festival is happening on the Mont-Royal Avenue with all your favourite independent restaurants and cafes. For a 6th edition, the avenue will become completely pedestrian to host the event between September 16th and September 17th.
On both days of the festival, from 1pm until 5pm, there will be FREE tastings available in the participating restaurants. Some of the places offerings free tastings include, Café La Touche, Première Moisson, Copper Branch, Cool & Simple, Croissant Croissant and many more. L’Avenue Gourmande is also an opportunity to discover local producers from the region and their ray of products offered. You’ll be able to understand and appreciate Quebec’s terroir. The producers at the event include people like Khiet Pham, a local artisan ice-cream makee, Mario Pariseau, an artisan baker or even Julien Cardynal, an artisan barista who will show you methods of infusion and various specialities of coffee between 1pm and 3pm. New to this year’s edition, 8 restaurants will open the festival with fixed priced special menus from September 14th until the 17th. The 8 restaurants include:

Pozzédélic : Menu at 25$
Chez Victoire : Menu at 35$
Les Héritiers : Menu at 35$
Aux Îles à Sucre : Menu at 25$
Boswell Brasserie Artisanale : Menu at 35$ and Brunch at 15$
