McGill Symphony Orchestra Performance
McGill Orchestra – The McGill Symphony Orchestra is an impressive orchestra including performers from the university. Many musicians are part of the “Schullich School of Music” from the university. As of January 2018, the orchestra will be performing an impressive classical repertoire under the direction of artistic director, Alexis Hauser, and guest conductor, Jean-Marie Zeitouni.
The event will be performed from January 18th 2017 until January 20th 2018, and the last performance will be broadcasted. This year’s edition of the event will feature the winner of the 2017-2018 Classical Concerto Competition. The McGill Symphony Orchestra will be performing classical pieces, including Pulcinella Suite by Igor Stravinsky and Jupiter Symphony No. 41 in C Major, K.551 by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
