Screening of “The Shape of Water” for 5$
Film – This year has welcomed many great new films, including Call Me By Your Name and The Killing of the Sacred Deer. One of the films that has received has much attention, is Guillermo del Toro’s new tale, The Shape of Water. His style is very recognisable and his movie has already received a number of awards, including Best Film Maker and Best Film at the Golden Globe Awards. The film is set in the early 1960s during the threat of the cold war. During this time, some scientists are making the most of the instability, to perform secret laboratory tests on a strange creature. Elisa Esposito, played by the talented Sally Hawkins, is caught up in the mystery of what is happening behind closed doors and soon forms a close bond with the creature.
The film will be screening at University of Montreal’s cinema on February 27th and 28th 2018. There will be three different screening times each day. The tickets are sold 4$ (tax included) for students from any university with a valid student ID, and 5$ (tax included) for the general public. The film will be screening in its original language with French subtitles. Enjoy !
