Decarie at St. Jacques Closed – Along with the recent Turcot Interchange closures and detours there will be more for drivers to contend with this weekend as the South end of the Decarie Expressway will be closed in both the A-15 North and A-15 South directions as construction work to rebuild the demolished St. Jacques St. overpass continues.
Here is what you should know to help you navigate around the area:
*FROM FRIDAY 10:00PM TO MONDAY 5:00AM
SOUTHBOUND Closures
– Drivers will be forced off the expressway at the Sherbrooke St. West exit and only two of the entrances to get on the Expressway will be open: From Highway 40 East and from the Decarie Circle (At the north end of the Expressway off Marcel-Laurin in St-Laurent).
NORTHBOUND Closures
*Note: The following entrances to the expressway will close anywhere from one to two hours before the scheduled full closures.
– From HWY 20 East.
– From the Ville-Marie Expressway West.
– From HWY 15 North.
– From the De La Verendrye Blvd. entrance to HWY 15 North.
As well, the Girouard entrance to HWY 15 South will also be closed.
*Drivers from the West Island are advised to take HWY 20 and Cote-de-Liesse Road to avoid the closures. If you are heading to the Champlain Bridge you are advised to take the Bonaventure Expressway.
