Andrew Carter named Grand Marshal of Hudson’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2018
Grand Marshal of Hudson’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade 2018 – The organizing committee of Hudson’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade is proud to announce CJAD-Radio morning man Andrew Carter has been named Grand Marshal of the 2018 edition of the parade.
Mr. Carter, a long-time West Island resident, is a veteran broadcaster who is well known to Montreal’s English-speaking community. Many Montrealers have been sharing their mornings with him since 2003, before that he hosted the afternoon drive show.
“I am absolutely thrilled,” said Carter, commenting on being named Grand Marshal of the 9th edition of Hudson’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which will be making its way down Main Road on Saturday, March 17, beginning at 1 p.m.
“I think the Hudson parade is a great event and a great boost for the community. I am honoured to be a part of it,” he added.
“We could not be more fortunate to have Andrew as our Grand Marshal this year,” said parade director Jim Beauchamp. “He is well known in this community and his sense of humour will be on full display as his friends and colleagues join us on March 3rd for his Roast & Toast event.”
Tickets for the Grand Marshal’s Roast & Toast gala evening at the Whitlock Golf and Country Club featuring comedian Joey Elias and former NHLer and hockey commentator P.J. Stock, can be reserved by calling 450-458-5305, ext. 200. Tickets are $65.
