Ardene foundation celebrates International Women’s Day
Ardene foundation – On Tuesday, March 6th, the Ardene Foundation is holding its third annual in-store event to celebrate International Women’s Day. The Foundation is collaborating with long-time partner, the Shoebox Project, to provide clothing, shoes, seasonal apparel, and accessories to Montreal women in need.
Up to two hundred women will be welcomed at the event for a shopping spree on the house, hosted by Ardene. The Ardene Foundation, Ardene’s dedicated charity organization, has pledged to donate products free of charge for guests. Since the beginning of their partnership, the Foundation has contributed over $200,000 of merchandise in support of the Shoebox Project and its initiatives.
The Ardene Foundation’s mission is to incite meaningful change in the world, and is committed to helping girls and women break the cycle of poverty and reach their full potential. With the help of generous donors, the Foundation has collected over $2M in support of local and global humanitarian programs like this one.
Ardene will continue to focus on women’s empowerment in 2018, spreading a message of realness and self love to its community. The Foundation said in a statement, “We celebrate women every day, but International Women’s Day is an exciting platform for us to do good and build awareness… from Ardene’s head office and store employees, to our customers, and our community – our goal is to stand with strong women everywhere.”
The event will be held at Ardene’s Decarie location on rue des Jockeys in Montreal (5455 rue des Jockeys, H4P 2T8). Members of the media are welcome at the event from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm. A closed door shopping period will occur from 9:30 am to 11:00 am to respect the privacy of guests.
