Bâton Rouge West Island holds Gastronomy Event for The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation
Bâton Rouge – The Lakeshore General Hospital Foundation (LGHF) is pleased to announce that the 8th edition of the Bâton Rouge Gastronomy Event, held March 26th, had an unprecedented success. Sponsored by Bâton Rouge and Château Dollard, the event raised over $ 67,000 to improve health care at the Lakeshore General Hospital.
More than 260 people enjoyed a wild and fabulous gourmet evening at the restaurant Bâton Rouge DDO, which included a cocktail, a succulent four-course meal, an open bar, a silent auction and many surprises. “We are particularly grateful to the restaurant owners, John Frintzilas, Jimmy Sotiropoulos and Peter Gianopoulos, who for the past 8 years have shown great generosity by graciously offering us their hospitality, food and alcohol. Even the restaurant staff donated their time and service! The event has become very popular in the West Island and was sold-out a week prior to the actual date. It has evolved over the years and we are delighted that it has become the talk of the town party. The DJ kept the crowd hopping all night, and the guests were dancing non-stop. I would also like to thank our sponsors and generous donors, who enable us to enhance health care close to home for our community,” said Heather Holmes, Managing Director of the LGHF.
