Kelly green was everywhere and the below zero temperature did not prevent the large crowd of festival goers from participating in the 10th Annual Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, which made its way from the corner of rue Yvon and D’Anjou boul. to Normand Street in Chateauguay.
The parade included the Black Watch and the Elgin Pipes and Drums, many floats, dance troups, Scouts and Guides, Sport Associations, the Kahnawake Peacekeepers, clowns and mascots, RCMP, fire departments, the Karnak Temple Shriners, representatives of CTV and CJAD.
Reigning this year are Parade Queen Alana Belanger and her court, princesses Elizabeth Lebrun, Sydney Legare, and Brianna Warren.
