Marché des Eclusiers – Eat, drink and shop at this Farmers Market in the Old Town
Marché des Eclusiers – If you haven’t been to this Montreal farmers market ( Marché des Eclusiers ) yet, now is your chance. Thursday 31st of August will be the last day that you can make the most of this summer’s market in the Old Town. Not only is it a fantastic place to shop your local produce, such as fruit and vegetables, cheese and meat, but it is also a great spot for a lunch break or an evening drink.
Delicious burgers from Burger Royal will be there on the last day of the market as well as Pastaga Snack-Bar who will serve you delicious sea food. If you fancy a freshly brewed coffee, Café Volcanic has got you covered with their organic and fair-trade coffee from Guatemala. If you’re craving something sweet, they also have vegan friendly pastries and even breakfast options if you’re an early bird.
If you’re coming to the market for lunch and you’re craving something healthy, check out Velish. As well as fresh juices, they also have salads and wraps if you’re in a hurry, or simply enjoy it on their beautifully decorated terrace.
The farmers market will be open on Thursday from 2pm until 7pm for the last time this summer, and most snack bars and restaurants will be open all day.
