Pointe-Claire Home Depot holds holiday fundraiser for AMCAL
The Home Depot Canada’s Pointe-Claire store is fundraising for AMCAL Family Services this holiday season.
Until Dec.16, customers can donate $2 at the store’s checkout in exchange for an orange paper door. All donations will help AMCAL continue its programs that help young people and their families in difficulty.
“AMCAL is very grateful to all Home Depot Pointe-Claire staff and in-store customers who support us,” says Sophie Dalbec, Executive Director of AMCAL Family Services. “Also, we appreciate this opportunity to build awareness for our services in order to help as many young people as possible. We want parents to know that there is support and we encourage them to call us if they are facing issues with their youth.”
The fundraiser is part of The Home Depot Canada Foundation’s Orange Door Project, which aims to prevent and end youth homelessness in Canada. For more information, visit orangedoorproject.ca .
