Canada Day celebrations in Dorval
July 1, from noon to 10:30 p.m.
At Millennium Park
This year, Alter Ego will be celebrating Canada Day with us! They will be performing the biggest dance hits from the last decades with over 250 costume changes. This will be a performance to remember! The day will also include a family show with Les Vitamines, rock and roll with Matt Rock, laughs with Aweye Manon, roaming entertainment, airbrush tattoos, inflatable games, and food trucks to satisfy your cravings. We will end the night with our very popular fireworks. Be sure not to miss this great day of fun for the entire family!
From noon to 6 p.m.:
- Inflatable games
- Airbrush tattoos
- Arts and crafts
- Roaming entertainment
2:30 p.m. – Aweye Manon (comical family show)
3:15 p.m. – Matt Rock (rockabilly, blues)
4:30 p.m. – Demonstration by Studio de danse Imperium
5:30 p.m. – Zumba
6 p.m. – Opening ceremony
6:30 p.m. – Matt Rock (rockabilly, blues)
7:30 p.m. – Les Vitamines (acrobatics)
8:30 p.m. – Alter Ego (band)
10 p.m. – Awesome fireworks
Food trucks and local associations will be on site for the entire event to offer food and alcohol-free beverages.
A detailed schedule of events will also be available in the July calendar of activities, which will be delivered to every door this summer.
Free Shuttle Service
In order to facilitate the access to Millennium Park, the City of Dorval will be providing a free shuttle service to citizens.
The shuttles’ stop points will be the following:
1) Parking lot at Pine Beach Park (corner of Dawson Avenue and Pine Beach Boulevard)
2) Surrey Aquatic and Community Centre (1945 Parkfield Avenue)
3) Dorval Aquatic and Sports Complex (1295 Dawson Avenue)
4) Millennium Park (corner of Keller Circle and Sevigny Avenue)
From noon to the end of the event, shuttles will stop at these four locations approximately every 30 minutes. They will also run this circuit on a regular basis to allow attendees wishing to leave the event to return to their initial stop point.
