Metro grocery – In order to meet the increasing demand of its customers, METRO is announcing that West Island residents will be able to enjoy home delivery thanks to the online grocery shopping service. Initially only provided for a specific area of Montreal, deliveries are now accessible for West Island residents, reaching a much wider radius. As of today, online grocery shoppers will be able to have their order delivered throughout most of the Island of Montreal or pick it up at the two participating stores.
Metro’s online grocery shopping service sets itself apart by its “Fast and Fresh” promise: to guarantee freshness, customers’ orders are transported in delivery trucks equipped with the exclusive a Tri- Zones® process (temperate, refrigerated and frozen zones). The freshness of the products is thus preserved and guaranteed, from shelf to home. Employees entirely dedicated to online grocery shopping have been trained to select the freshest in-store products that customers would choose themselves. Before going into the truck, the products selected are kept in-store in a section equipped with the same Tri-Zones® process.
