Nocturnal Night at the MAC in Montreal
MAC – The Montreal Museum of Modern Art is offering guests a unique occasion to visit the museum and the Leonard Cohen exhibition by night. This nocturnal visit is a unique urban experience in the heart of downtown Montreal and will be a fantastic occasion to visit the Cohen exhibition until 2:00 a.m.
The event will take place on December 1st 2017. There will be creative workshops from 6:00 p.m until midnight and a local DJs, including Stéphane Cocke, Eloïze and a special guest, who will be performing at the museum from 5:00 p.m until 2:00 a.m. During the creative workshops, participants will be invited to experience the diversity of ways to approach plastic, just as Leonard Cohen did. You will create a series of self-portraits composed of lines, punctuated with forms and colours accompanied with your own poetry.
There will be many more exciting activities during this nocturnal event. From 7:00 p.m until 8:30 p.m, Clara Furey will be showcasing some of her dance routines entirely choreographed by herself. During the entire evening, there will be an oyster bar opening at 7:30 p.m and a restaurant will be open until 9:00 p.m with a special Leonard Cohen menu.
