Pajar Bootie beach party marks the end of summer

As we’ve all noticed, this year, Mother Nature hasn’t been the greatest innovator. Well, our friends from the Pajar Canada clothing gave our dear Mother Nature a run for her money, by teasing her with a combination of winter gear and bikinis.
The Pajar models posed on the event’s red carpet wearing the new collection boots, winter coats and very little fabric underneath. Hosted at the TerrasseBonsecours, the event took place on Thursday September 4, 2015 during the happy hour time.
Around 6pm, bottles were popped and guests were happy, especially the Golbert family who were hosting the event. Michel, David, Elise and their father Jacques “Jacky” Golbert attended their “Bootie Beach Party”, mingling with their guests, friends, fashion bloggers and who knows? Some potential new customers perhaps!?
But really, who doesn’t know Pajar? At this point, if you haven’t seen their logo while shopping for your next winter coat or heavy duty booths to get through our polar bear Canadian winter, clearly, you haven’t looked in the right place.
Well, something I’ve learned on Thursday while talking to the Golbert’s, is that PAJAR’s history began in Paris. In fact, Paul Golbert was born into a European shoemaking family, and, upon his arrival to Montreal, he founded the company back in 1963, naming it after his family’s names: Paul, Jacques, Rachel…PA-JA-R… (himself, his son and wife). True to its roots, Pajar remains a family-owned business with Paul Golbert’s son, Jacques “Jacky” at the helm, along with his children, Michel, David and Elise.
Thursday’s party was a fun-filled night to celebrate the end of summer and get a sneak peek of some of the exciting Fall/Winter Pajar collections of boots and coats. Montreal Fashion personality GérardineJeune, who was featured in our April issue on Plus Size Fashion, attended the party, along with John Hou, Managing Editor at Bulace Magazine, and various fashion bloggers and PR reps, supporting our Montreal-based brand.
