Christmas Walk – Now that December is fast approaching, there are many Christmas themed events and markets taking place in the city. On December 9th, the annual Christmas Walk will be taking place on the Mont-Royal avenue, and will be entirely lit by candlelight. The walk will be accompanied by animations, choir singers, who will be singing some Christmas classics, and musicians from “La Chasse-Balcon”.
The departure for the walk will be at 7:00 p.m at Park des Compagnons, on the corner of Mont-Royal / Cartier. You will then arrive at the La Fontaine Park at 7:30 p.m and be treated by a performance from Musique de Barbus. at 7:50 p.m, the fire works will take place and at 9:00 p.m, a FREE concert performed by Damien Robitaille will be held at the Park des Compagnons. The evening walk will end at the La Fontaine Parc, and fireworks will close the event. This year’s theme for the Christmas Walk will be “Montreal”, to celebrate the city’s 375th birthday.
