Christmas – Each year, the Emilie Gamelin park transforms itself into a Winter wonderland, offering various activities surrounding the festivities. Their mission is to create a platform for artistic expression by hosting an open air festival that, through visual arts, heritage and performing arts, will transport you into a magical and festive world.
Christmas in the Park Festival, is an outdoor Winter event that revives the magic of the holiday season, offering an exciting musical program and festive activities. This year, in addition to its two parks in the Plateau-Mont-Royal, the festival will also take place at Place Émilie-Gamelin in the Quartier des spectacles de Montréal. The event is all inclusive and promotes multicultural and community values through its activities. Take part in this magical event at either Place Emilie Gamelin, Park des Compagnons de Saint-Laurent or at Park Lahaie.
The village will be open from December 1st until December 25th 2017. There will be street performers, Santa Claus meet ups, a grilling marshmallow set up, a Christmas tree forest to buy your perfect one, musicians, and many huts with festive food and drinks for everyone. Artists such as The Van Hornies, La Bronze, Mara Tremblay, Valerie and many more will be performing during the 25 days leading up to Christmas.
