Festival – Montreal, I love you more and more everyday and your annual vegan festival is one of the reasons why. Every year, chefs, activists, professors and many more, gather together to organise the largest vegan festival in Montreal. This year will be the fifth edition the festival is running, so get ready for various new activities as well as inspirational talks. Some of the guests who will be participating in the festival include acclaimed London based chef, Gaz Oakley, as well as local boy and buddhist chef, Jean-Philippe Cyr. Ed Winters (Earthling Ed), will be speaking about his activism, and Camille Labchuck as well as Sebastien Kardinal will be taking part.
This year’s vegan festival will take place on Saturday October 20th from 10.00 until 18:00 as well as on Sunday October 21st between 10:00 and 17:00 at the Palais des Congrès. Best of all, the entrance is completely FREE of charge, you must only pay for the food or goods you purchase at the festival. All of the food demonstrations and talks will also be FREE of charge. This year, on-goers will have access to cooking demos given by renowned and professionally trained cooks, conferences on various subjects and will also have the opportunity to discover vegan exhibitors ranging from clothing, food to restaurants and many more. For those who are willing to go the extra mile, there will be themed workshops ($) added to the program this year. Most of all, you will be guaranteed to have an enlightened time accompanied by delicious vegan food.
