OUMF festival will get you back into the mood for school season this September. From September 6th until the 9th, the festival will take place on St Denis street, between De Maisonneuve and Ontario streets.
There will be FREE shows throughout the festival, as well as urban art, comedy gigs, DJ’s and much more. On the first day of the event, you will have a chance to discover “all 30 murals decorating the Latin Quarter”: download the free app “Portrait Sonore” to listen to explanations. On the same day, 5 comedians, including Mehdi Bousaidan, Marie-Lyne Joncas, Daniel Pinet, Arnaud Soly and Rosalie Vaillancourt, will be performing a comedy gig at the St-Denis Theatre at 8:30pm. Tickets are 32,50$ and student ones are 20$.
The next day, even more events will be coming to you. Join “Meltdown” on St Denis street to have a dance off with your friends. Enjoy a game of mini-putt created by local artists between St Denis and De Maisonneuve. Don’t forget to check out the ART TRUCK where students will get create and share their talent. The truck will include paintings, illustrations, photography and drawings. Finally, from 5pm to 9pm, help create a completely unique and collaborative mural with the people around you. This will take place on rue Emery.
