It is one of the most anticipated summer event year after year : the Grey Goose’s Summer event! Every time, the classy vodka company partners up with a Michelin-star chef for a two-day pop up event that also features distinguished Montreal brands and talents. This year, they organized a two-day public pop up market at the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Garden Terrasse, in the heart of the Montreal Jazz Festival. It was sublime! Montreal Times was there.
The theme this year was inspired by the French Riviera, where Michel-star chef Christophe Dufau, who created all meals for this two-day pop up, assisted by MAC executive chef Kimberly Lallouz, is from. The Grey Goose Market was indeed inspired by Côte d’Azur freshness and chicness with : blue and white umbrellas, sofas, photos ops and kiosks that set the tone for this chic event where guests could also purchase fresh bakeries, flowers, ice cream and other delicatessen from local shops.
The event is open to public so make sure to check it out next year. The location and guest chef are always kept secret until last minute, but you will certainly want to enjoy a cocktail and few bites in this lovely environment while taking a photo or two. During the day, it’s an “al fresco” lunch spot and an open-air market, and at night, a DJ sets the tone for a move festive evening, with la crème de la crème guestlist …
