Art – Immerse yourself in traditional India through the words of Alice Boner and Alain Danielou. Both writers are avid defenders of the importance of the arts in India in the West. They have both left many writings that speak of mystical visions and reflections which still find their echoes in the world today. On March 10th 2018 at 2:00 pm, their stories, reflections on art, the divine, the invisible and the subtle world between the East and the West will be shared with you.
The event will be an hour and a half of story telling read by Mariette Raina from excerpts of texts written by Alice Boner’s Diary in English and from Alain Danielou’s tales in French. They will also be performances surrounding Yoga followed by a Q&A session. This event aims to respect the continued connections with our past, present and future in our ongoing relationships with Indigenous and other peoples within the Montreal community. The event is completely FREE of charge and will take place at the Never Apart Gallery on Saint Urbain street.
