4 Montreal brunch menus to try this Holiday season
Who says vacations says lazy mornings, late brunch and lots of food. This Holiday season, take the time enjoy your off day and go out for brunch with friends, it’s the best way to unwind in between all the family dinners you must attend. Because brunch = fun!
Rosélys is serving a decadent “brunch buffet” every Sunday. There you will find multiple food stations featuring seafood, breakfast staples, fresh fruits and vegetables, a selection of delicious desserts and pastries, a full selection of breads, Quebec cheeses and cold meats, a selection of hot items, “made to order” omelets, fresh fruit juices and a variety of teas and specialty coffees. The restaurant will be serving a special brunch menu on Christmas’s Eve and Christmas Day. By reservations only.
From December 23rd-December 30th, Brasserie 701 will be serving a special “Holiday brunch” menu that includes a “Grand Champagne” cocktail upon arrival, sweet platers to share and your choice of main (benedicts, toasts, pancakes, eggs, breakfast burger..,) With the purchase of any main course to choose from treat yourself to a 2-hour mimosa open bar for an extra 30$ per person. You could also choose to go with fresh smoothies and juices, specialty coffees and teas if, for any reason, you want an alcohol break.
Gypsy Café , one of our favorite new brunches of 2018, is a must go this Holiday season. If you are looking for a healthy and light brunch, smoothies bowls, delicious coffee prepared by talent baristas, a boho inspired vibe and a “peace and love” atmosphere, Gypsy is where you’ll be heading during your Holiday break. Great news: they are serving their delicious breakfast/brunch menu all day every day (until 3pm), so you can try the Matchamama bowl, the pear and ricotta toast, or the breakfast sandwich, any day. A special “boozie brunch” will be served on December 23rd as of 2 PM with a special 35$ bottomless mimosa menu and a live DJ.
Soubois will be serving a special pre-Christmas brunch on Sunday December 23rd. Part of the profits will be donated to the Dr. Julien’s Foundation for children. On the program: decadent pancakes, live music by DJS and a toy fundraiser right before Christmas. Santa Claus and many more Holiday surprises are to be expected, in addition to a beautifully designed brunch menu created by chef Guillaume Belisle-Daly.
