4 Museums with Free Entry in February
Art – February will be the museum month of the year. Many of the popular museums in the city will be offering FREE entry to their permanent exhibitions to entertain you indoors during these cold Winter days. If you’re feeling generous, you’re always welcome to leave a small donation despite the free entry. Make sure to make the most of these precious evenings at the museums, as they will not be offered throughout the entire year. This is a fantastic way to get out during the Winter days and yet still be indoors. Here’s the full list of some of the museums offering FREE entry during the week:
The McCord Museum offers FREE entry to all on Wednesday evenings for their permanent exhibition only.
General admission is always FREE of charge at the Redpath Museum, however, a small donation is always welcome and helps small museums like this one.
Canadian Centre of Architecture
The Canadian Centre of Architecture offers FREE admission to all of their exhibitions on Thursdays only after 5:30 pm.
Montreal Museum of Fine Arts
The Montreal Museum of Fine Arts does not offer free admission days, however the permanent exhibitions are FREE of entry to anyone 30 years old and younger and if you’re over 30, you can sign up to the Grande Bibliothèque and borrow for FREE an entry pass to the museum.
