On the stroke of midnight, thanks to Moment Factory and Tourisme Montréal, Montreal’s skies will come alive with a sparkling light show on the Jacques-Cartier Bridge. Lasting fifteen minutes, the luminous and pyrotechnic experience will mark the beginning of the New Year in a glorious brilliance!

HOW TO GET TO THE EVENT

LOCATION
Jacques-Cartier Pier, in Montreal’s Old Port

TRANSPORT
Metro Stations : Opened all night long ! Champs-de-Mars & Place D’Armes (Orange Line)

Night bus : Get home safely by taking the night buses 361 North (Saint-Laurent St.) and 363 North (Saint-Denis St.).

By car : Paid parking in the Old-Montreal

If you wish to park at the King-Edward Quay, you can access it via De la Commune St. from McGill St. However, please note that exits will not be permitted from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. The Clock Tower Quay parking will be closed because of the illumination of the Jacques-Cartier bridge.

And don’t forget: the STM has announced that the metro will be open all night on December 31st. It is highly advised to privilege public transportation because of the road closures and traffic. The closest station to the Jacques-Cartier Quay is Champ-de-mars.
