Marché des Possibles – Returning for six weekends from June 22 to July 29, 2018, Marché des Possibles (MDP) is back with a rich and colourful musical and culinary program. Located at the corner of Casgrain and Bernard in the Mile End district of Montreal, this open air market is a summer go-to for locals and tourists alike. The market offers completely eco-friendly grounds with recycling and compost stations, corn starch glasses to eliminate all plastic, and zero straws on the site. With a free outdoor programming of emerging musicians, on-site biergarten, family activities, local artisans and games, the Marché des Possibles returns stronger than ever for its 5th anniversary.

Every weekend a variety of talented food vendors will offer culinary menus to suit all taste buds. From Mexican chefs and a tacos competition, vegan cuisine, Malaysian street food, the Japanese YATAII, a traditional bluegrass picnic and a weekly greenhouse vegetable market on Saturdays, the Marché des Possibles will be a one-stop shop for everything that summer in Montreal has to offer.

Families are welcomed and there will be programming catered to the young ones every Saturday and Sunday from 11am to 3pm, including fun and educational activities like Indigenous hoop dance workshops, Yogistory sessions, and MDP’s infamous annual water gun battle.

The Marché des Possibles is proud to promote gender parity in its programming and is run by a primarily female team. All events and schedules are available on the MDP Facebook page and on popmontreal.com .
