Fans of Motown are in for a treat next month as The Jewish General Hospital showcases some of Montreal’s greatest performers for a fantastic fundraiser.
The Beat of The Street is a high energy musical production featuring over 50 artists, including a live band and the vocal harmony sounds of a gospel choir. Performances will include some of the all-time greatest Motown, R&B and Soul Classics that will have you out of your seats and dancing in the aisles.
This wonderful event will benefit women’s health services at the Jewish General Hospital’s Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Gyn-Oncology headed by Dr. Walter Gotlieb.
The Beat of the Street will also be in honor of the late Dr. Daniel Wiener, “who served the community with compassion for over 30 years and left a legacy of professionalism, charisma, and quality improvement.”
The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is designated as one of the Centres of Excellence in Québec.
The generosity and collaboration of donors and supporters resulted in the JGH being rated the #1 hospital in Quebec, #4 in Canada and amongst the top 100 hospitals in the world by Newsweek Magazine
Thanks to philanthropic donors, volunteers and supporters, the hospital and its patients benefit greatly from the Foundation’s many fundraising initiatives.
