2018 Polar Bear Plunge – The Polar Bear Challenge is an original and fun fundraising activity organized by the police officers of the Law Enforcement Torch Run to benefit Special Olympics Québec. The goal is to collect a minimum amount of $50 per diver, police officer or any brave contestant and to plunge into the frozen waters.
The 2018 Polar Bear Plunge will take place on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Club de Canoë de Course de Lachine (2105 Boulevard Saint-Joseph, Lachine, QC H8S 2N7). Parking will be available (limited) in public parking lots and in the streets around the Club. Click here for a map of available locations.

When? Saturday, February 17. 2018 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration starts at 11:30 a.m.
Where? At the Club de Canoë de Course de Lachine, 2105 Boulevard Saint-Joseph, Lachine, QC H8S 2N7
All participants must register and confirm their jump time before accessing the site.
How? Registration (per participant) : 50 $ for the chance to jump into the icy water to support Special Olympics Quebec athletes.
Minimum suggested fundraising: $50

If you can’t find any courageous team members to join you, you can always register in the “Amis des Olympiques spéciaux” team. You will be paired with other brave souls that support Special Olympics.
Bring your family, kids, friends, neighbors, colleages, even your dog! On-site you will find entertainement, food kiosks and all kinds of activities for everyone! We promise you a day filled with emotions!
