BLVD Saint Laurent – For a second time this year, the BLVD Saint Laurent will be closed off to traffic to host BLVD. From September 7th until September 10th, the road will be open to pedestrians between Sherbrooke and Mont-Royal. Many activities will be happening everyday on the Main, including end of summer sales, live music, games and performances.
Most shops will be displaying their sales, so it’s a great opportunity to find last-minute items your need for back to school season. There will also be many FREE activities happening.
In the Parc des Amériques, make sure to check out their pic-nick zone busting with great music. You’ll be able to grab a pic-nick basket to find something to eat in one of the Boulevard’s many restaurants. Then, return to the park to enjoy great music and a glass of wine. Entrance is FREE to the park. Check out the line-up for the next few days here.
If you have kids and want to make sure they have an unforgettable time as well, BLVD has organised a children’s area. Mostly located around the Portugal Park, all the activities will be FREE. There will be a game of soccer, giant inflatable spheres to play in, a make-up station and a relaxing area with giant sofas. On St-Cuthbert street, there will be games of volley-pong, basket-ball and loads more sports to play with your kids. For more information, click here.
