Jane’s Walks are held simultaneously in 17 countries and in over 100 cities. In 2012, 85 cities and more than 12 000 walkers took part. They are organized in honor of Jane Jacobs, author, activist and philosopher on architecture and urbanism that had a lasting impact on North American urbanism.
