The City of Dorval unveils its summer programming and all the different series of free shows that will take place on the Frank Richmond outdoor stage of Pine Beach Park, starting June 23.
First, the famous Novartis concerts will be presented every Monday at 7:30 p.m., from June 23 to August 18. These performances feature different live music styles and artists. In case of rain, the concert is held at St. Mark’s Church (865 Lakeshore Drive), in Dorval.
On July 17, at 7:30 p.m., the Nouvelle Génération Orchestra, accompanied by singer Gianna Cobusiero, will present a classical music and opera concert under the stars. In case of rain, the performance will be held at de la Présentation Church (665 de l’Église Avenue).
On July 24, at 7 p.m., the theatre production “Harry the King” will be played by the Repercussion Theatre troupe. In case of rain, the show will be held at the Serge Nolet auditorium of Dorval-Jean XXIII high school (1301 Dawson Avenue). This special evening will be presented by the City of Dorval, in collaboration with the Conseil des arts de Montréal en tournée.
Lastly, the “Sunset Dance” series will be held on Thursday evenings, at 7 p.m., on July 31, August 7, and August 14. The groups Ample Man Dance, Hua Yun, and Esencia Del Peru will charm you with outstanding dance performances. In case of rain, the shows will be held at the Serge Nolet auditorium of Dorval-Jean XXIII high school.
Bring your own lawn chair to watch comfortably every one of these shows or rent one on site for one dollar. Admission is free for every show.
