The third edition of “Kids 4 Kids” is a huge success!
For the third year in a row, Westmount’s Mountainside United Church organized the “Kids 4 Kids” concert to raise funds for Sun Youth’s children’s programs. The concert was held on Saturday, April 26th and brought together talented performers, many of whom were children, from the Mountainside United Church Choir, le Petit Choeur de Rosemère, the Junior Chorale of the English Montreal School Board, le Choeur Interculturel de Montréal and the Montreal Korean Methodist Church Youth Group.
In front of a packed house, children and adults presented a varied musical program, all for the benefit of Montreal’s underprivileged children. The concert was a great success, generating over $5,900! These funds will be put towards the purchase of milk and eggs, which will benefit the families with children receiving assistance from Sun Youth’s Food Bank, and will also help fund Sun Youth’s Bullying Prevention and Conflict Resolution program in schools.
Sun Youth and Mountainside United Church would like to thank everyone who attended the concert, all the volunteers who gave their time to ensure the smooth running of the event and, most of all, all the children who preformed magnificently for the enjoyment of the crowd!
