Food – Throughout the world, Montreal is well-known for its diverse food culture. Last year it was ranked the city with the highest restaurants per capita in Canada. Montrealers can’t seem to get enough of all their restaurants and cafés, because during the Summer there are so many different outdoor food festivals. The YUL EAT festival is the biggest food event hosted in the city, offering foodies a chance to discover local talents and dishes they have never tried before. This year, the 2018 YUL EAT festival will take place between September 10th and September 16th, so you will have plenty of time to make the most of the event. Join the festival to discover local talents, make new food discoveries and meet people who are just as passionate about good food as you are.
Over 40 restaurants with a variety of culinary experiences will be at the festival. As well as food trucks, there will be demonstrations and tastings hosted throughout the week-end for you to discover the richness of Montreal’s gastronomy. This year, the festival have a new addition to their program. For some of the keenest festival-goers and foodies, they will have a chance to go into the kitchens and workshops of some of the most passionate chefs and producers of the city. To guarantee a quality tour, only a small number of participants will have the opportunity to closely observe the chefs and artisans behind the scenes, broadening their knowledge, and most of all, enjoying great food while getting in on the action in a most authentic atmosphere.
