Generations Foundation’s Annual Toy Drive

It’s that time of year again, to give all we can to those less fortunate.  Generations Foundation is in full force according to Natalie Bercovici, ‘she’s making her list and checking it twice’.

“Our winter and holiday campaign is well underway and we are hoping that as usual, Montrealers will be generous in helping us provide meals and milk for children and their families in our food programs”.

We are busy making a list of the schools and centers and families who will receive the toys before Christmas from us and hoping that we will have enough to fill their needs.

Be sure to tune into Global’s Morning show on Monday November 16th from 7 to 9am for the Annual Food and Toy Drive kickoff with Jessica Laventure live at Barbie’s Restaurant in Dorval!  Everyone eats breakfast, why not take a drive with your donation to Barbie’s and start the day off right!  New toys and non-perishable foods are needed………Thank you!

“We thank Global Montreal, Shaw and Mega/Mattel for their generous contributions and partnership again and other loyal and generous donors for without all of them we could not have helped so many children throughout the years.   We are thankful for our volunteers everywhere who are a huge help to provide our services”, says Natalie Bercovici of Generations Foundation.

Also lending her support is Global Montreal’s senior anchor Jamie Orchard.  “They do such good work, Adrian and Natalie, the names of the children are on all the presents, and it’s very heartwarming at this time of year”.

Here’s a fun fact from Natalie, “Generations Foundation will also be bringing 100 children and supervisors to the Mega Blok Factory Tour children’s party where they will have lunch and Santa will arrive to take pictures with the children and each child will receive a beautiful Mega Blok gift from Santa as well”.

Their collection boxes for toys and non-perishable food are to be placed at various locations in Montreal.  People can check their website around November 16th (generationsfoundation.com and Facebook/generations foundation) and Global TV when the locations have been confirmed.

Watch Adrian and Natalie Bercovici on Videotron channel 09 MAtv with Richard Dagenais on Tuesday November 10th at 7pm.
