Golf Dorval Supports Special Olympics Golfers

On SundaySeptember 27, the West Island chapter of Olympics Québec presentedJean-Guy Côté, Operations manager at Golf Dorval, with a commemorative photo in recognition of the support and contribution made by Mr. Côté and the City of Dorval to the SpecialOlympics golf program.

ʺ In the spring of 2015, we came to Mr. Côté looking for a new home for our program and hewelcomed us with open arms ʺ, saidSpecialOlympicshead coach, Don Sugden. ʺ Golf Dorval and the City of Dorval have contributed to improving the lives of ourSpecialOlympicsathletes and theirfamilies, and for thiswe are verygrateful ʺ, hesaid.

 

According to Mr. Côté, ʺitis important to encourage the effort of the athletes to learn golf and beready for the 2017 Olympics.ʺ

 

Dorval Mayor  Mr. Edgar Rouleau saidthat ʺitis part of our social responsabilitiesas a City to support SpecialAthletes and we do itwithgreatpleasureʺ.Golf Dorval isownedby the City of Dorval and is one of the few remaining municipal courses in the Montrealregion.
