In a first for the company, the Opera de Montreal will be selling several hundred hidden treasures from its costume workshop on September 28. Redingotes, kimonos, magnificent dresses, astonishing outfits, armour, capes, helmets, props, and vintage posters… Unique pieces being sold at modest prices, just in time for Halloween.

We need to make room for new productions in our costume workshop. So, we thought it would be really fun to let people acquire a piece of Opera de Montreal history, at a very affordable price, stated General Director Patrick Corrigan.

Collectors will also have a chance to find what they’re looking for, as a few exceptional items will also be available.
