1:00pm ••• Pat Loiselle and Mombo Combo
Born in Montreal, Pat Loiselle has been on the “Blues” and “Roots” scene for over 20 years. Introduced to “Blues” guitar after seeing B.B. King and harmonica by the albums of Little Walter and Rice Miller (Sonny Boy Williamson), he constantly goes back to his roots to discover new styles. The Delta Blues, Gospel Slide, Cajun Two-Step and Travis-Picking instrumentals are some of the styles that Pat includes in his shows. Besides the guitar and harmonica, he plays mandolin, dobro (Lap) and banjo, making him a multi-instrumentalist.
4:00pm ••• DVJ Roberto Lopez
In his three years in the business, DJ Lopez has worked in some of the most popular night clubs in Montreal: Club 1234, La Boom, Light Ultra Club, Radio Lounge, Lamouche, Moomba, Copa Cabana and Newtown. He has worked with the country’s top DJ, MC Mario. He has done private events, namely for Wesley Snipes and Guy Lafleur, and has opened for international acts like Chris Ortega, Dirty Vegas and DJ Chuckie.

Wicked Access was born in December 1993 when four friends decided to pool their talents. They worked the bar circuit, performing major hits. 4:00pm ••• DJ Skittel’zz
A finalist at the 2010 Montreal DJ Awards, and named top BUM SQUAD DJ from among the best urban DJs in Canada, DJ Skittel’zz – alias Firestarta – is well-known among electronic dance fans in Quebec. When it comes to mixing R&B, Hip Hop, Reggaeton, Progressive Rock, Electro House, Tek House and Dub Step, nobody can match him. DJ Skittel’zz was also recruited to open for several big international acts, such as DJ Champion, DJ Eric Prydz (Pryda) and Karl Wolf.
7:00pm ••• This Side Up
This Montreal-based band, whose members are originally from Sherbrooke, was set up in 2001. The band has performed major sporting events across Canada, delivering the timeless top rock hits of Guns & Roses, CCR, Green Day, U2, Lynyrd Skynyrd and Nirvana. First and foremost a rock band, This Side Up performed at the 2011 NHL Heritage Classic in Calgary, the 2008 Grey Cup in Montreal, the 2010 Vanier Cup in Quebec City, the 2009, 2010 and 2011 Honda Indy in Toronto, and the 2008, 2009 and 2010 Nascar races in Montreal. This will be their sixth appearance at the Crescent Street Festival, much to the delight of the band’s Montreal fans.

He has toured the world with the success of his hit single, Get Up and Boogie, featured on his debut album which was certified gold and platinum at the height of the disco years in Montreal. Freddie James was the first artist to reach gold status with dance music in Canada and has expanded on his North American tour, stops in Japan, Africa, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Singapore, Indonesia and China.
