Saturday, July 5th 2014, Hudson will host the 4th edition of the Hudson Car Show. Vintage, classic and hot rod cars will be on display, at the corner of Cameron and Main, from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Cameron street will be closed between St-Jean and Main, that day. Once Cameron will be filled, cars will be lined up on Main street.
And because 2014 marks the 50th anniversary of the Mustang, the mythic car will be our guest of honour, this year.
Started in 2011 by three local business people: Andrew Dumas, Sergei Malsev and Georges Sauvé of Restaurant Sauvé, the Hudson car show was
introduced to bring colour and people in town. The first year gathered 75 cars. It was a start!
In 2012, Céline Camirand joined the team and organized the second car show. It brought 125 cars in town. Promising! In 2013, the third year of the yearly Hudson Car Show brought an astounding 240 cars. We are onto something!
Our mission is to gather cars of 25 years and older, such as some….Ford 1934, Chevrolet Bel Air 1956, Plynouth Barracuda 1967, and more….
Of course, with signature cars like these music is also an element of concern so….we will have a DJ and Rock Ave Danse will demo some of their rock and roll moves.
Please come dressed up 50’s style…It adds to the day!
There will be trophies and raffles. Thank you to our sponsors.
The ceremony will be held around 2:30. The show closes at 4:00pm
Car owners must register online at www.hudsoncarshow.net
