Last minute ideas to celebrate New Year’s Eve

If you are a procrastinator and still don’t have plans for … tomorrow (New Year’s Eve) here are few ideas on where to celebrate the arrival of 2019. And, remember : Montreal’s metro system will be running all night to bring you home safely. Happy New Year! 

-The annual New Year’s Eve Party in Old Montreal 

Merry Montréal’s NYE Party is back for a sixth edition with free activities for the entire family! Starting at 7 p.m., the festivities kick off in Old Montreal. Quebec artists will be performing on the outdoor stage at Jacques-Cartier Pier as of 10 PM and a fireworks show will start at midnight to celebrate the start of 2019. Don’t forget that the Montreal Ferris Wheel and the Natrel’s skating ring are also going to be open until 1 AM.

-The ultimate glamourous party at L’Auberge St-Gabriel

The ultimate Old Montreal’s party destination, L’Auberge St-Gabriel, will be celebrating the last second before midnight in a dreamy atmosphere created especially for the occasion. Sponsored by Veuve Clicquot, the festive evening, at 165$ per person includes: a cocktail hour (7-8), a special New Year’s Eve feast menu, and an unforgettable party that kicks off at 10 PM. Tickets still can be purchased for the entire evening or for the party only.

– “It’s a wrap” party at W Hotel Montreal 

The very happening W Hotel Montreal will be throwing a New Year’s Eve celebration with a “dinner and party” package for you to enjoy their new venues: restaurant Nom Nom and Bartizen bar. The evening can begin at the redesign hotel’s restaurant for a “family feast” starting at 125$ per person and end at the first Montreal’s gin bar with DJ Puppa Sacha (the entrance is free at Bartizen).

– “Circus” Night at Hotel Nelligan

Hotel Nelligan is throwing an unforgettable evening of extravagant spectacles, where the circus comes alive. The “Circus” themed evening is where, all night long, magicians, acrobats and illusionists will impress you with stunts, magic tricks and more. In addition, food stations await you with cocktails before the big countdown. Tickets can be bought here at 180$ per person for the evening

-Final Fantasy New Year’s Eve Party

Final Fantasy is a unique all-encompassing luxury lifestyle event set in Le Salon Richmond. Revel under 40-foot cathedral ceilings and celebrate the last moments of the year under the beautiful hand painted arches of this 160 year old converted cathedral. Tickets for this unique party can still be purchased here. 

-A night of electronic music at New City Gas

The largest Montreal DJ’s and artists venue, New City Gas, will kick off the new year with international electronic band Vicetone and a Dom Perignon champagne bar. If you enjoy electronic music, live DJS, cocktails and a night of dancing, tickets still can be purchased from 30$ per person here. 

 

-Italian feast at Fiorellino Laurier

If your idea of a perfect New Year’s Eve includes tons of food served “family style” in a fancy decor with a killer ambiance, you should act fast and grab the last available spots at Fiorellino Snack Bar new location on Laurier. On December 31st, they will be serving a special 4-course meal to share with your loved ones that includes: oysters, crudos, salads, pastas, pizzas, meat, fish and desserts. At 95$ per person, it will be a true Italian-feast at this brand-new (and gorgeous) location of Fiorellino.
