Strut the Catwalk!
A grand female silhouette evoking the world of Thierry Mugler forms the centre of the installation Strut the Catwalk!Highly stylized with sharp lines, it is set off by different coloured discs that mimic the texture of plumage. Depending on the angle and time of day, the light bounces off them in varying ways – shimmering, sparkling or shining like so many sequins under the hot summer sun, or bringing a proud burst of colour to cloudy days. This absorbing mise-en-scène gives rise to a unique and memorable experience: a vibrant tableau that twists and transforms in time with the visitor’s step.
Strut the Catwalk! was designed by Provencher_Roy, specialists in architecture, design, urban planning and landscaping.
The event’s artistic program was developed in collaboration with LatinArte.
