The Free outdoor salsa concert will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Take in the beautiful weather in an exciting ambience in the heart of the Museum complex.
Adding to the fun, a cash bar and street food truck ($) will be set up at the event.
Half-price admission to the exhibitions
That same evening, visitors can also see the exhibitions Thierry Mugler: Couturissime and Montreal Couture for half-price, from 5 to 9 p.m.
Strut the Catwalk!
A grand female silhouette evoking the world of Thierry Mugler forms the centre of the installation Strut the Catwalk!Highly stylized with sharp lines, it is set off by different coloured discs that mimic the texture of plumage. Depending on the angle and time of day, the light bounces off them in varying ways – shimmering, sparkling or shining like so many sequins under the hot summer sun, or bringing a proud burst of colour to cloudy days. This absorbing mise-en-scène gives rise to a unique and memorable experience: a vibrant tableau that twists and transforms in time with the visitor’s step.
