WE Day, a powerful series of educational events that combines the energy of a live concert with the inspiration of extraordinary stories of leadership and change, announces the full list of speakers and performers attending WE Day Montreal on February 22, 2016 at Théâtre St-Denis. Alongside partners led by National Co- Title Sponsors RBC and TELUS, WE Day Montreal will bring together thousands of students in an inspirational setting, celebrating the commitment they have made to take action on local and global causes they care about.

Layout 1   Taking the stage this year is a cast of new faces and returning WE Day favourites, including Marlee Matlin, Kardinal Offishall, Francesco Yates, Joseph Boyden, Jonathan Roy, Scott Helman, Spencer West and more. Co-hosted by Tyrone Edwards and Maripier Morin, this star-studded lineup will join international activist and WE Day co-founder, Craig Kielburger, to share their passion for change and international experiences, and energize the crowd with unforgettable performances and motivational speeches.

“I have performed at WE Days across the country and every time I step on the stage I am still overwhelmed by the energy of the crowd,” said award-winning rap artist, music producer and Free The Children ambassador, Kardinal Offishall. “I am continuously inspired by the thousands of young people that have come together to make a difference and can’t wait to connect with the students in Montreal during the first WE Day of 2016.”

WE Day is an inspirational event like no other, bringing together like-minded individuals and providing a platform for youth to learn about some of today’s most pressing issues. WE Day celebrates and inspires this generation’s shift from me to we—towards acting with intention, leading with compassion, and a belief in the power of community. Taking the philanthropic world by storm with 14 stadium-sized events in Canada, the U.S. and the U.K., WE Day is one of the world’s largest non-profit initiatives on social media, with more than five million followers.
