Mario Lemieux- There is a reason of course why he is known as Super Mario. During his formidable years playing alongside Jaromir Jagr, the two time Stanley Cup champion as a player and 3 times as an owner saved the franchise from extinction. Now you can own a part of history. Mario Lemieux’s home is up for sale, but you will need deep pockets. Mario Lemieux Mont Tremblant estate for sale is Priced at $21,999,066, this is the highest priced ever asked for a home in Quebec. The 66 at the end of the asking price is of course the symbolic. It would be a probably good idea to remove the 999, as those numbers make you think of the Great One. So far according the Realtor Michel Nadeau who works with Engel & Volkers said that there have been two people interested in this listing.
The 1579 square meter castle known as the Chateau Fleurs de Lyse, has eight bedrooms, nine bathroom, 17 fireplaces, two bedroom guest house, enormous deck, and antique columns from the 1800’s imported from India. The property was designed and inspired by the famous hotel Chateau Frontenac just north of Quebec City.
This is by all accounts the highest priced home ever listed in Quebec. Lemieux and his family vacation here every summer, but they primarily live in Pennsylvania and also have a property in Florida.
