Festival: A Weekend Celebrating Cultures Around the World

Festival – “Week-Ends du Monde 2018” is a festival taking place at the park Jean-Drapeau which offers Montrealers of all origins a window into other people’s culture and traditions. Along with traditional music, dances, culinary discoveries as well as family activities, this festival aims to celebrate each individual and their country. The festival will be taking place over two entire weekends to offer you the most experiences regarding different countries. The “Week-Ends du Monde” festival is completely FREE of charge for all and will be hosted on July 7,th, 8th, 14th and 15th.

There will be fun activities for all the family, including percussion workshops, creations of graffitis, a show for children everyday at 2:00 pm and a family area with hip-hop classes and the making of their own musical instruments. This is a fantastic way to introduce your kids to different cultures and activities around the world. There will also be many different food stands with all kinds of foods and flavours, including dishes from Portugal, India, Mexico, Jamaica, Guadeloupe, Spain, Italy, Chile and many more. Here is the schedule of which countries and cultures will be celebrated on each day:
