Griffintown’s First Food Festival is on until March 17th!

Griffintown's First Food Festival

If there is one neighbourhood in Montreal that everyone is talking about these days, it’s definitely Griffintown. This new “foodie” hot spot is, in fact, so hot that they decided to host their very own first Gourmet Festival called Griffintown’s First Food Festival.

Festival G. (for Gourmet and Griffintown) is taken place from March 7th to March 13th at 18 participating restaurants including: Asado, Perles et Paddock, LICENCE IV, Restaurant Le Richmond, Meatball House, Le Fantôme, Mauvais Garçons, Bird Bar, Le Bureau Bar Tapas, No 900, Industria Pizzeria + Bar, Restaurant ZIBO, Pub Burgundy Lion, etc.

What to expect:

  • Special “table d’hôte” diner menu offered from 22$
  • Happy Hours specials starting at 17$
  • Gourmet Brunch menus offered at 17$

And, to help you choose on where to eat in the next two weeks, please find “the Montreal Times” perfect foodie itinerary to try during Festival G.

  • Happy Hour at Le Richmond

Your next happy hour should definitely take place at hot spot Le Richmond, where life is always a party. And, from March 7th to 13th, you can receive a glass of Lanson Champagne, oysters, proscuitto platter and foie gras torchon for only 22$ per person. Not bat at all considering the average cost of a glass of champagne alone ! An amazing deal at an amazing place.

  • Dinner at Perles & Paddock

Perles & Paddock is a gorgeous and happening restaurant that recently launched a revamped menu and concept. And, for Festival G. they are also offering a fairly interesting dinner menu that you must check out. For 42$ per person, receive: 1 cocktail or glass of bubbly, oysters, 3 savory dishes to mix & match and 1 dessert. Considering all small plates at P&P (for those in the known) are amazing, it would be a shame to miss the opportunity to try four of them at such a small price.

  • Brunch at Burgundy Lion

Brunch just got better at Pub Burgundy Lion : for a limited time, receive a complimentary glass of mimosa with your choice of main (what about the Full English Breakfast plate?) and, in addition, you will also get desserts on the house. For 22$ per person, the famous Irish Pub is participating to Festival G. with a sweet deal on their weekend brunch. Act fast, you only have 4 days to experience it (Saturday March 9, Sunday March 10, Saturday March 16, and Sunday March 17)  !

To check out the list of all 18 participants restaurants and their special menus, visit the official website of Festival G.  It is the first edition of this Griffintown-centric gourmet festival, and we certainly hope it won’t be the last.
