FaceApp age filter is the rage of the internet and social media these days. The FaceApp adds wrinkles, grey hair to your uploaded picture to make you look 50 years older. However be careful on what App you sign up for.
The so-called free app has exploded on the social media network with a long lists of world leaders and celebrities joining in on the fun. The Jones Brothers, Drake and more have all showed how they will look when they are 5o years wiser.
FaceApp was developed from a small team in St. Petersburg, Russia and has not updated its privacy policy since 2017. Apparently when you sign up on the App you are giving full access to you phone and its contents. Pictures, passwords, contacts, basically everything on your phone is up for grabs.
The company is selling off the data to pay for the App.
