Check it out in the international zone of Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, at Gate 61
Montréal, December 9, 2025 — With a clear commitment to offering travellers new, unique experiences deeply rooted in the identity of the metropolis, ADM Aéroports de Montréal has commissioned Stimulation Déjà Vu to officially present an interactive multisensory installation, active since November 28 in the international zone of YUL Montréal-Trudeau International Airport, at Gate 61.
This original creation, the first of its kind within the airport, features a multisensory mapping experience: a device that uses a large mural map of a territory to bring a destination to life through senses and emotions. The installation combines sound ambience, scent diffusion, tactile textures, and animated graphic elements to deliver an immersive experience that goes far beyond simple tourist information.
An installation that reveals hidden gems and lesser-known places across the metropolis.
In close collaboration with ADM teams, Stimulation Déjà Vu designed a mural journey that spotlights authentic places, often little-known, yet deeply representative of Montréal.
Each section of the wall offers an experience that is both emotional and informative, allowing visitors to feel the city even before exploring it.

Featured experiences include:The sensation of ice beneath the fingertips, evoking the Pôle des Rapides skating rink; The scent of winter cold, a pure, invigorating, rising note that symbolizes Montréal’s winter;A textured landing strip, a tactile nod to the act of travel and the buzz of YUL, paired with discovery of the brand’s signature scent; The scent of the St. Lawrence River, inspired by Vague à Guy, a must-see spot for Montréal river surfing.
A shared vision: emotionally connecting travellers to the territory.“Montréal is unquestionably a city of art and culture, and for ADM, this project aligns perfectly with our desire to bring the identity of our beautiful metropolis to life through the installations at our international airport. We are proud to offer, thanks to the talent of our partner, an innovative and creative experience to our passengers, one that is truly imbued with the ‘Montréalité’ so dear to YUL,” says Philippe Stas, Vice President, Services, Commercial and Innovation at ADM Aéroports de Montréal.“We are very happy to collaborate with ADM to offer an experience that goes beyond the image of Montréal and truly allows people to feel it and connect emotionally with the destination,” explains Audrey Bernard, Founder of Stimulation Déjà Vu. “Our multisensory approach creates an immediate emotional link, a lasting memory that stays with travellers long after they pass through the airport.”
This installation reflects Montréal’s identity: creative, inclusive, surprising, and multifaceted. It offers a new way of understanding a territory, not only through what we see, but also through what we touch, hear, and breathe.
The multisensory mapping experience is accessible to all passengers in the designated YUL area as of November 29, 2025.
