In their statement they explain, ‘Health and safety are at the heart of our concerns, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Measures to ensure the health and safety of workers have been diligently prepared in recent weeks and will be ready to be deployed and rigorously applied by NouvLR, the consortium carrying out the work – in accordance with CNESST directives. The current situation is, without a doubt, an imposing challenge that our teams are facing. Thanks to the workers who will make it possible to resume operations in the coming days. The various REM construction sites are ready to get going again. We can now continue the construction of one of the largest automated light rail systems in the world’.

– Mid-2021 to end of 2023: Complete closure of the Du Ruisseau segment in Deux-Montagnes.
