Indie Montreal’s Noa Kemp to release new single “No Blame”

Indie Montreal noa Kemp

Emerging singer-songwriter Noa Kemp is releasing her new single “No Blame”, an introspective track in which she explores the emotional tensions of a relationship strained by ego, where frustration slowly gives way to an act of letting go. The single will be available on all streaming and download platforms on Friday, August 15.

Active in the Montreal music scene, Noa Kemp sings primarily to connect with her most intimate emotions. During her frequent performances at Café des Habitudes and Turbo Haüs, she often covers pop ballads in a stripped-down and sensitive style. As she approaches her 24th birthday, she’s taking a creative turn by composing her own songs, drawing on her personal experiences and the questions faced by her generation.

Her musical universe stands out for its dark acoustic aesthetic, with the voice as the central instrument. Inspired by the textures of orchestral productions, she aims to amplify the raw emotion that runs through each of her tracks. Lauren Spencer SmithGracie Abrams and Holly Humberstone, whose sensitivity and authenticity align with her artistic vision, are among her key influences. Based in Montreal, a city that has played a crucial role in her personal journey, Noa Kemp turns introspection into music with disarming sincerity.

She will perform “No Blame”, along with several unreleased songs, live on stage at a concert scheduled for September 13 in Montreal.
