Golden Montreal Restaurant Week – The Golden Square Mile Tourism Development Society (Golden Montreal) announces the launch of the second edition of Golden Montreal Restaurant Week, a gourmet event that will take place in the most prestigious part of downtown Montreal. Menus with prix fixe will be available for lunch, dinner or brunch in a selection of exceptional restaurants in the Golden Square Mile. A unique experience for foodies, September 17th to 23rd, 2018!

Golden Square Mile’s Restaurant Week (Resto Golden Montreal) was created to promote the neighborhood’s gastronomy and create a buzz around the event in order to attract business people and visitors to recognize the Golden Square Mile as a gourmet destination of choice in Downtown Montreal.

The Golden Square Mile: a rich history and an exceptional vitality!

The Golden Square Mile Tourism Development Society (Golden Montreal) was created in 2016 to promote the Golden Square Mile district as a unique destination. Home of wealthy Canadian families since the 1850s, many of Scottish origin. The Golden Square Mile refers to an area bounded by Rene-Levesque Boulevard, Mount-Royal Park, Côte-des-Neiges Road and Robert-Bourassa Boulevard (formerly University Street). For many, this section of Sherbrooke Street is reminiscent of New York’s famous Fifth Avenue. We can find some of the city’s finest architectural establishments, including beautiful Victorian homes, but also remarkable institutions, prestigious hotels, gastronomic restaurants, renown universities, boutiques, art galleries, museums, parks, monuments and many other attractions.
