So many generations have grown up with James Bond movies by now. The suave British super spy has been in the centre of cinematic attention for over fifty years. The action-packed films aren’t all about the nerve-twisting chases and way more than fifty shades of cool, though.
As a character, James Bond has a certain integrity and approach to life that makes it possible for viewers to take some lessons home. Read on to learn about the top three life lessons that 007 films have clearly spelled out for both newcomers to the Bond scene and life-long fans.

Confidence is the key
Is there anyone more confident than Mr. Bond? This British spy with an international reach has taught us that confidence goes a long way. When you know the purpose of your daily endeavors, you’ll have no problem in achieving even the seemingly most difficult tasks.
James Bond has been standing eye to eye with ruthless opponents. These villains wouldn’t even flinch if they had a chance to kill our favourite spy hero in a heartbeat. However, knowing all this, Mr. Bond is still following through with the missions he’s been set out to do.

Gamble responsibly
The stakes are even higher when the beloved secret agent starts gambling. In many of the famous scenes featuring gambling in Bond films, there is an electric-like menace in the background as the threats our guy is facing exceed the worries over the bankroll. He’s teaching us to take risks and have fun in life while always staying responsible in managing our gambling sessions.
One of the craziest things to come out of Agent 007’s penchant for gambling is the Global James Bond Day raffle by Mr. Gamble. One lucky winner gets €1000 and 21 free pizzas in return for watching all the James Bond films and jotting down all the gambling scenes in each title.
Don’t give up easily
Never give up! That is one thing James Bond has taught us over and over again throughout all of his films. There are an endless number of moments in his spy career where most people would say ‘screw it’ and just move on to a different job.
That’s not how James Bond approaches difficult situations. In the films, we can see him never giving up even if it means acting quick and making truly crucial decisions. This is a mindset that all of us could benefit from in our daily lives even if not everyone gets to use these in a high-profile spy career.
